My clients often ask me what they should be using at home to maintain their hair color and health. Below I've highlighted a few of my favorite products that I believe make a radical difference. PLEASE make sure you're buying reputable products from reputable sites. Make sure you're ordering directly from the source and not a third party.

  • CELEB LUXURY VIRAL SHAMPOO & NATURAL TONE DEPOSIT SHAMPOOS. Perfect for maintaining color and tones between appointments. Toners are semi & demi permanent so if you're not making salon appointments every 4-6 weeks on the dot, you need a product to help maintain the richness of your color. Fashion tones need even more help! Porosity and at-home care greatly effects how long a fashion tone exists. I encourage every client with a fashion tone to invest in a color shampoo.
  • FRAMESI : COLOR LOVER. Violet toning shampoo. If you're the client who can't stand brass you NEED this product. This is a life force for ash blondes. Also, if you are transitioning to blonde it builds up in your hair as you use it overtime and cuts the warm tones so they aren't as vibrant. However, it's still important to use intense conditioners and switch off every now and then with a health based shampoo.
  • OLAPLEX NO.3. This product is the best for an extreme turn around. I've seen this treatment bring broken hair back to life. I recommend this for everyone, but especially those who color treat and lighten their hair. This is a product you can invest in and 100% see the results. Its a professional product that consumers can buy and use at home.
  • PAUL MITCHELL MARULA OIL. I love using this on dry and/or color treated clients. Not totally recommended for people who get oily easily, but I would just advise focusing it on the ends of your hair. When you've used keratin or moisture products but feel like your shampoos and conditioners are falling short this might be a great option for you. This product radically changed my own hair, and I felt the difference.

Be sure to treat yourself! Your hair is an investment!

Halloween, the ultimate cosmotology holiday, recently came and went! Here's a peek of some of the looks I created on myself in the spirit of fun and parties!

This was a unique color session because my client came in and said, "Do whatever you want!" I had a lot of fun with this one. It's not everyday my suite feels like a true art studio! I was able to choose a color palette and the placement. Essentially, I layered two ombres on top of one another while maintaining the same base/root color for each. Loved the turnout! Enjoy!

I have had a very long, but productive past two weeks. I spent many nights working late, prepping for weddings, and then working them. In the past 9 days I've worked three on top of working in the studio. Everyone who hired me for on location services these past two weeks took really good care of me. You all are the best, I'm #sofortunate !

Typically, I do not do upstyle/bridal hair. I only freelance my makeup services in order to stay sane and keep my hair supplies at work. Therefore, for weddings I purely book on a makeup basis. However, I made an exception for a bride with unfortunate circumstances this past week. Featured in these photos are a couple of highlights from the past three weddings I worked. All of the photos taken from the front are makeup applications I did. The photo taken from the back of the head is an updo.

For me, it's important to show you all the "real" makeup photos in whatever lighting is provided at the location. Find an artist that fits your needs and puts up an honest front, and you will get the results you're looking for. XX say no to airbrush apps! XX

So grateful to be recognized in Baltimore Magazine's August 2016 issue! Even more excited to be deemed best colorist for the year! A big congratulations goes out to my friends at 'smoke + mirrors' salon for winning best salon of 2016. I love when all of us are accomplishing goals together!

I got to celebrate with friends at the 'Best of Baltimore' Magazine Party this past week and had a blast! I can't wait to see what we accomplish in 2017!

i've been bursting at the seams to share that the thoughtful editors at 'baltimore magazine' awarded me the title of "best colorist" of 2016, in their august "best of baltimore" issue. i'm very humbled and thankful to be noticed. it's easy to get swept up in the pressures and hardship that this industry poses, and i truly appreciate them seeking out and recognizing my work from this year. it's a sense of validation that pushes me to keep moving forward despite my own doubts. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

This look was a complete transformation from a lengthy low level brunette to a platinum leveled bob! This client had some previous color banded in her hair, but with 3 appointments and a few generous haircuts we were able to make this beautiful change happen, which can also be seen on popular hair community, "allaboutdahair, and number one hair magazine, "behindthechair_com"
